ALEC GRIFFEN

Alec Griffen has always loved the magic of cinema.  Whether it was going to set with his father, Screenwriter Eric Roth, at a very young age,  or becoming an bonafide cinephile during his studies at the University of Miami. He fell in love with filmmakers; the Spielberg’s, Fincher’s, Scorsese’s,  and was able to connect with them and learn from them. After graduating from university, Alec went to work as an assistant for Directors James Grey, Darren Aronofsky, Michael Apted, and Agnieksa Holland.   He learned from their abilities to work with actors, frame and block like masters, and their incredible storytelling.

As a jack-of-all-trades Alec has begun working as a screenwriter and executive producer on many projects.  After his work for directors, Alec was hired by producers Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce to write an original fantasy feature film script, on which he Is in development. He was also hired by director Justin Gullett to co-write/ executive produce his next feature film called “the Last Story of David Allen.” He will be executive producing a feature film with director Cess Silvera, and his son Justice Silvera. He is also in development with actor/producer/director Debbie Allen on a TV project.
